Some reviews say the edges are a tad sharp. But if you adjust the ring that discomfort is easily eliminated. I purchased the ring in other saying as well. I can't say if the ring hold up with hand washing. I make a point to remove it before getting my hands wet.I love the ring. I gave one to my daughter and grand daughter.NiceToo large (agree no, you can't adjust the size), hard to read the print (not bold as in picture). But still cute overall. My 2 daughter who I bought them for would not let me return them. One is wearing it on her middle finger and the other on her thumb.
